My drivers seat keeps making a clicking type noise when getting out of the seat or stop n go driving anything that puts weight into it and off of it. I had the seat track replaced but i think it's the actual seat anyone else have this problem it's a 2011 rs8

Mine creaks a little.

Mine is like a clunking noise very annoying and it wasn't always like this

If it's a tapping sound, look under the seat. On the tunnel side, there is a metal box-shape (open to the bottom) piece. There may be something that has slipped inder the it.
It happens to mine often enough ...

It's like where the top and bottom meet and recline it's that area

I'm going to bet that the support bars in the lower section of the seat have broken loose at the weld points. I discovered that mine had when I recovered the seats so I went in and removed them and built a lower lumbar support into the frame in place of them.

I think you might b right because they replaced the seat track and that didn't fix it I hope my extended warrenty will cover it

Just bought an RS8 with the same issue, what did the problem end up being? It sounds to me like it is in the rail/track, but I haven't torn into it yet...

they replaced the entire lower seat assy but reused my factory seat something welded broke
