In the news this morning:
Toyota to recall 7.4 million vehicles over power window glitch - Yahoo! News

The xB is on the list of vehicles from 2005-2010.
"The vehicles recalled outside Japan include some models of the Yaris, Vios, Corolla, Matrix, Auris, Camry, RAV4, Highlander, Tundra, Sequoia, xB and xD produced between 2005 and 2010."

Hmm says produced thru 2010. Is production date on the car somewhere?

I called my Scion dealer the other day for a different matter and was informed about the recall. Basically was told that the switch needed to be "lubed" and time involved was approx an hour. I have seen a lot of switches in my life and this didn't make a whole lot of sense but what the hey.....I'll take Boxanne in and have her done!
