I just received my TRD springs I ordered from eBay seller toyotaaccessories4you. Thought I'd pass along the great buy and prompt shipping i got from this seller. $212 shipped.
bought some lowering springs from a company called D-1 Canada last year. 1 1/2" drop, the rear didn't quite drop as low as hoped, but got them for $85.00 shipped to me from Canada. They are still holding strong! VERY PLEASED!!!! the springs are also TRD red.
Hi All, I purchased a shift boot and trim panel from Tre888 on Ebay. The item was shipped quickly and and was in perfect condition.
Bought my spoiler from a company on eBay called thespoilercompany, great price, great spoiler! Not the best directions, but it did come with locator strips and was packaged nicely.
I also bought my Altezza tails from eBay seller revotec. I had an issue with one of them not working properly, so I contacted the seller and they were prompt in helping replacing the light with prepaid packaging and everything. They also sent me the new one first, then let me ship out the broken one which was very nice.
Would recommend both companies.

so far I have nothing but good things to say about the companies Ive bought from on ebay. I got me new tail lights from ebayer: Sabersport, fast shipping, bought them on a friday, received them the following friday with no problems at all.

I also bought new headlights from thcsociety on ebay and so far they've been great to deal with, very fast response to questions, but they dont have a direct paypal link, if you ask him, he will send you his paypal address though!
I purchase from ebay on regular basis. I learned early to read the ad very carefully to know exactly what you're buying. I screwed up on the first purchase. I was looking for oem fender flares for my 04 tahoe. I purchased some that I didn't realize till later were oem style which needed too much mods to fit so I held onto to them for like two years until I sold them locally. Another purchase involved a scam artist. He advertised a "new power programmer" for my tahoe. He also guaranteed full satisfaction or money back. When I received the item I immediately tried to download the program onto my tahoe. Came back with an error which meant that the programmers software had already been downloaded to another car. This guy sold me a piece of plastic. Contacted ebay and paypal. They gave me the runaround. They were asking me to take the item to a qualified tech to inspect and get something in writing. What???? I had the ad and emails from the seller guaranteeing full satisfaction. Still got the run-around. So I went directly to my credit union and had them reverse the charges on my visa. They investigated and I won.

Long story short...read read read and be sure of what you're buying. No problems besides that one after that.

bought some metal badges from fantasy_starss. free shipping, and he shipped it the same day i bought it, so it showed up in only 2 days from across the country.
Well . . . I have bought enough from Ebay now to have my wife PISSED when she sees "paypal" on our credit card printout . . .

READ the description carefully, ask a lot of questions, and research what you are looking at. Also, see ANY purchase/win or even bid as a potential total loss. I've had several folks I bought from banned for scams not long after I won stuff from them- some I got the item and some I didn't. I lost money on those I didn't. The last one was some patches that MAY still show (though I am unable to leave feedback if I do- vendor is banned), costing me $8 worth is they don't. Another seller asked for a check AFTER BSing about what he said on the bid (intentional mislead in the wording for taking paypal)- He was banned shortly thereafter- I sent NO check and got NOTHING.
Also, I've had the run around from the SAME flag company under several seller names. The last time, I went ahead and requested a cancel shortly after they sent the confirmation w/ the name and person's name- they complied.

Overall, most experiences were GREAT and so were the sellers. Some have provided me with items for years- from the time I had only a few ratings and will buy some more stuff shortly (when have the extra cash again).

My "rule of thumb" . . .
- Be able to "lose" ANYTHING you bid on or "buy now."
- If MUST work or you seriously mess up something valuable, buy from a more reliable store.
- Be prepared for the occasional disappointment and "screw over" as they WILL happen.
- Read the DESCRIPTION carefully- look for anything odd and make SURE it says what you THINK it says.
- READ feedback carefully, esp. if in ANY doubt. I have turned back on some stuff I REALLY wanted as the comments felt suspicious.

After many great experiences, (i posted earlier) I have come across a scammer again. Feedback looked good. Nothing seemed suspicious. Bought a couple of scion emblems for $10.40, no big deal. 1.5 months later and still nothing received. I had the $ credited back to my account thru my credit card co. but I also disputed and escalated to a claim with paypal since ebay didn't do squat. Hopefully paypal comes thru.

So now you are pulling a scam on the seller? You got your money back thru your CC company and also put in a claim thru Paypal? Double dipping??
Actually no. I thought my cc company was going to pursue the issue with paypal. They called me and said that they would credit my account but that the seller was not getting punished because they don't pursue anything under $25. Which means they had to eat the $10.40 credited back to me. I told them I would pursue with paypal and once I got the money back I would give it back to the cc company. I believe in Karma.
I just bought a spoiler from moproauto and the transaction was flawless. Their communication was very thorough and open and they painted (perfect Stingray Blue Metallic color match) and shipped the spoiler in about a week. Install was a little iffy (when is it NOT iffy when you have to drill holes in your car??), but everything came out perfectly. I paid $210 shipped vs Scion's $423 before taxes! I highly recommend them!
I bought brand new hotchkis springs from the seller mcgeorgeparts. They started the bid at I think $5 ended up winning them at $81 with free shipping. Gotthe springs to me in 5 days and he answered back my questions pretty quickly. I would highly recommend them.

The painted oem spoiler actually costs $285 shipped from Kent Brown Toyota in NY.
I got my Alpine SPS-600C speakers on eBay for a great price from the seller "googol_shop".
I also got my AVS vent visors on eBay for cheap from the seller "got-chrome".

Both items are perfect, and I would definitly order from eBay for my car again!
Man guys I only paid like $167 for my spoiler. It was $130 I believe not painted. Plus free shipping. thespoilersource.com I believe.
My spoiler was less than $100 on eBay. I picked it up and saved like $10 on shipping.

I've also ordered a few other things on eBay... exhaust, glow (interior and exterior), vinyl door sills, and HIDs. No really super bad experiences with sellers, and I always find what I want on there.
bought my blacked out headlights from GForceUSA through ebay...Great price and fast shipping (instructions were terrible) but otherwise a great buy!
i basically strictly shop on eBay. Ive only had one bad experience and that was handled via paypal. Otherwise nothing but good to say.
