Ok so as some of you may know, I bought an inexpensive axle-back exhaust off eBay a few months ago. Well, when I'm in park or at a stop sign or red light, the exhaust tip makes this super-irritating rattle/vibration sound caused by it touching the lower edge of the rear bumper. It's done it enough to rub/melt the paint in that area off (none of that is visible unless I crawl underneath it). I put a rubber foot off one of my guitar pedals between the tip and the bumper, and that helped with the rattle/vibration, but just made that whole side of the bumper shake. After a day or so that fell out anyways...
Here’s a picture:
I’m not terribly happy with the sound of the exhaust, so I’ve thought about putting the stock one back on. In the meantime however, does anyone have an idea on how to stop it that doesn’t involve cutting the bottom edge of the bumper (the part you can’t see) out?
Thankya!
