Red and white are positive.
Black and Green are ground.
I used a 4 pin XLR connector for easy disconnect.
here's the pinout
1. red. (Clock switch)
2. black. (Clock switch)
3. white. (Odo switch)
4. green. (Odo switch)

Looks like a VERY interesting mod.. could you possibly give a bit more detail?

Where is that circuit board located? How hard was it to get out? How did you get it out?

What's an XLR connector? How was that used?

I see that the buttons ....the originals from the dash, you say are still there.... What did you use for the new ones?

Any switch can do, as long as is a momentary switch.

Where is that circuit board located?
Bottom left corner of the Gauge cluster.

How hard was it to get out?
Simple, Beginner soldering skills.

How did you get it out?
Follow the LED swap Procedure.

What's an XLR connector? How was that used?
An XLR is a connector used for Profesional Audio, it's just used for quick disconnect.

OK, they say the dumbest questions are those unasked, but I have been wondering... what is the purpose in doing this mod? What is the advantage to haveing the buttons down by yer knee?
