Would it be hard to wire up a set of leds to light up when the dome light turns on while unlocking with an inline fuse.

I wanna add a set of 4 white led puddle lights under both sides of my box.

It should be fairly easy to put a T-tap in the dome light circuit. You might have to drill a hole somewhere to get the wire outside the car unless you go through the firewall and then back again.

Not to worried yet on how to run the wires. Always time for that later. Just wanna figure out how to make it turn on when I unlock and open my doors but not technically when I turn on the main dome light

Go to TRDSpark's website and check out the pdf for the installation of the factory interior illumination (led's). I think they are tied into the dome light circuit.

There are a few threads on ScionLife about the installation of puddle lights. Check the tC as well as the xB threads.

That's how I figured out how to wire mine. They're on a switch and I can have them turn on when unlock doors, or have them on constant if I like. The dome light isn't affected, so I can have that on if I like without the puddle lights turning on.
