If you buy your xB in a state like CA where the front plate is required, chances are you get the pleasure of having it delivered with the plate holder pre-installed. You can remove the holder but you're still stuck with two big nasty holes in the bumper. So I picked up some bodywork caps (I think for a GM), bought some touch up paint from Toyota and plugged the holes.

In PA we only get one plate, but soemtimes the dealers wil install the front holder anyway. I asked mine not to, and they complied.

You're lucky. They can be strict out here sometimes. I think as long as I don't get pulled over speeding or something, I should be able to avoid the fix-it ticket.

yea i live in pa also and when they brought the car in it didnt have the fron plate so i was happy after i get the keys the next day dont you know it they screwed 2 holes and put there dealership tag on there and i took it off it looks really bad because of the shaving that is left there so i will be plugging there soon ..... i dont think the dealership will be happy tho lol have had the car less than 2 weeks and took off dealership front plate and license plate frame and there crappy zit looking sticker good thing it was hot came off no problem and no glue residue :naughty:

Autozone. I think it was around $3 for 5 or 6 plugs.
