So, I've recently started to really monitor my MPGs after I got the nifty application GasBook.

Only thing is, I don't think I put the information in right.

In case you were wondering: I put Elvis because that's what my dad was going to name me, and I didn't know what else to put.

Well, if you are driving an xB there is no way you put 23.56 gallons in the car unless you filled the spare tire well too!

It has a 14 gallon tank. The "reserve light" kicks in when approx. 11 are used/3 gallons left.
That would take 2 refill tanks w/ the light on to get 23 gallons. That should go much more than 300 miles, unless you drive floored- ALL the time.
Loaded w/ heavy stuff and in Atlanta traffic (near-floored acceleration and many, many stops), I still got 21 MPG.

It's a really handy App, if anyone here uses iTouches/iPhones.

the only drawback on the app is the gas prices aren't exactly accurate. they will sometimes be a few cents off, depending on how long ago they were updated. the app costs a dollar too.
