I'm pretty handy around the car scene but what is the one or two accessories that you put on and thought after it all that you'd have rather paid the dealer the money to let them do it?
Just curious as to what to look forward too.
Here's what I'm looking to add(so far)
overhead console,foglights,interior illumination,rear spoiler,rear sway bar,lowering springs,illuminated door sills, and a better stereo and alarm(the last two I won't be getting from Scion!).

I've installed the overhead console, foglights and rear sway bar. All three were relatively easy DIY projects and are covered in detail in other NSXB threads. The rear lowering springs should also be pretty easy (do them when you put on the rear sway bar), but the fronts are a little more involved.

Do you know if you have the dealer install the springs are they then covered under the full warranty-time wise?
I'd hate to have to switch out the springs to get some service suspension work.

Yes if the dealers install the springs they are covered by warrenty. Also I would have the spoiler installed. While its not that difficult, I just don't like drilling holes in brand new paint. Its kinds of scary.

i had the dealer install... Spoiler, overhead console, foglights, rims, and premium HU when i bought mine! It took them about 2 days but its all covered under warranty!

I've done collision and restoration work for years but nowadays time is money.
I'm all for letting someone else do it if it's easier on me- I try to work smarter not harder-lol!

I let the dealer install my springs, swaybar, strut brace, spoiler and wheels. just an FYI the labor is not included in the final price of the car with mods you choose. I ended up paying $792.00 in labor to do all the work I listed above.
