eBay - New & used electronics, cars, apparel, collectibles, sporting goods & more at low prices

So I bought these a couple of weeks ago. I was really excited when I got them in the mail. I don't know if this is my fault for getting cheap halo lights made in Japan or what but one of the plugs from the halo headlights doesn't match the other one already installed in the XB. I had to buy a different adapter and do some splicing. Also I'm worried about not being able to change out the bulbs when they burn out or whatever since I've heard so many horror stories of these halo lights not having fitment issues of the bulbs that are suggested for them. Will I be ok or did I screw myself buying these?

For now I just am running the regular lights, I haven't done the halo and the led ones yet. I don't know how to do that so I'm gonna have a buddy of mine do it for me. I've wanted halo lights for along time but now that I have them I'm reading a lot of people saying they suck and you are better off keeping your factory stock lights. I hope these stay fine because taking out that front bumper was a *****.

Also guys I really need your help on this. Looking at these headlights, which bulbs are high and low beams? I know this is a stupid question, but I made the bulb that is the low beam on the factory lights the regular ones for the halo lights. However when I did this the lights were really high up at night. So the next day I switched it out to ones that are closer to the middle and they seem ok. Could it be that the bulbs that came with the halo lights aren't that good and are opposite lighting of how the factory stock lights were put together?

The Anzo lights on FastScions.com are very relible and Anzo stands by their product. As for wiring the Halos. I will show you what I did. Easy to do for sure. Give me a minute.

How can I "adjust" the projecter light? Because the lights that you say are the high beams don't shine up high, they are low to the ground like regular lights.

They don't make them specifically for the 2011+ models, but it doesn't matter. They still fit (someone correct me if I am wrong), but the difference is in the city light.

The 2011's have a turn signal, and then a small city light (useless) above the turn signal. What this does is allow that small light to be on all the time when the parking lights or headlights are on. On the 2008 - 2010, the turn signal would come on (at lower power), and stay on as a running light.

If you put the new headlight unit in, all that will happen is that you will lose the city light. If you wanted to make your turn signal a running light, then just draw power from the existing wiring for the city light. Otherwise, just don't do anything, and it will still work fine (except for having wiring and a light that don't go into anything).

Has anyone done this install and can confirm?

Here is the thing. The light in the middle shines down normally like a average low beam, but the projectors shine bright high up and light up all four lanes when I'm driving home at work. When I had the projectors as the normal lights like they are with the factory stock headlights, it kept shining on people and I got the middle finger a lot. So I switched them to where the lights in the middle are my main lights. Did I do the right thing or do the projectors need some serious aiming adjustments? I took it to a local shop and they said they couldn't find any adjustment screws on my new headlights. I feel so lost with these and I kind of regret buying them.
