Sorry for the lack of pics in this post but I've been thinking about striping my Nautical Blue 08 xB maybe down the side or across the top but I seriously don't know anything about it. Is this something I would need to bring to someone who does paint or is there any online info I can check out?

I'd highly recommend someone to do this that has a lot of experience. Hand striping is a very delicate art. Yes, you could try, but I doubt that the results would be as desired as someone with experience.
When I worked at a shop, we had a striper 'lick' the flames on a car we painted. He charged around $300-$350, I can't recall the exact amount.
