yea i feel ya... i think if I'd had it powder coated gloss gunmetal gray it would of blend better... but hey, its plastidip , cheap man powder coat lolPersonally, I like the original look better, especially with your dark body color.
That looks killer! You just need to throw a little glossifier on there, thats why the 1st time you probly didnt like them. I love the silver lip though. I am actually about to do mine. I love plasti dip I just did my rear badge gas door and front bumper turned out beautifully. Yep at home depot its in the paint department. But if you cant find it order it from dipyourcar.com.
I can understand some looks are more or less desireble to others. In this case.. its the best of both worlds...but that's just meThat is pretty badass looking with the flat finish look. Though your wheels looked great before too like BrickPig said. Personally I hate the machined lip look but that's just me.
Thats interesting! keep us postedloved it both ways, thinkin about doing my hood
sweet!applied 1st coat
I like it.
W/ the dark color, the more gray shade gives a good, complimentary accent hue.
But, of course, I may be bias . . . they look familiar, if a larger rim w/ smaller profile rubber:
