Well, I wanted the AVIC-D3, but the shop talked the boy friend into the AVIC-F90BT. It's his money, so I wasn't going to complain!! Had it installed on Friday for my birthday!

Even though it's still glitchy as hell, I love it! Subs are coming next!

Yeah that thing is so the awsome sauce. My one friend has the d3 but wants the new f-series like you have. He said the same though. They are still glitchy and need the bugs worked out. Still a very cool b-day gift and I want one hehe.

I underswtand you lose the AUX output with this unit.

Did they have to do anything special to connect it to the iPod connector?

Chris-The shop didn't actually connect it to the "stock" iPod connector if that's what you mean? We just had them put the iPod cable in the glove compartment as the install was going on 6 hours and we had dinner reservations! I will re-route it to the center console when I get a chance!
