I just bought a 6pc lights from ledglow. I can't find a place to ground the wire. I tried the seat and it comes on for a few and turns back off. Where did you guys ground your lights?

Something may be wrong with your system.. That sounds weird.

I ground mine underthe e-brake. There is a bolt at the front under the cupholders holding down the plastic base of the center console. Haven't had any issues so far

Where did you tap into power? Did you maybe tap into something that is timed like the courtesy dome light that turns off after a minute?

i tapped into the fuse for the cig lighter. I have power. The lights flicker when i hit a good ground, and after moving it around i can get them to stay lit, but as soon as the car turns off i have to re-ground it. I am thinking about trying a switch, if that don't work, then i am going to call ledglow.

On my car, the cig lighter only has power when the ignition key is turned to Accessory or On. In other key positions, the cig lighter has no power. (This is typical for import cars. On some domestic cars, the cig lighter has power all the time.)

If you want your lights to have power when the ignition key is not in the Acc or On positions, then you will likely have to find a different power source other than the cig lighter.
