Took off rear emblem to mod it. That foam tape must bond to the tape at the molicular level. I've tried:
Goof off
Goo Gone
Rubbing alcohol
Grease remover
WD-40

Now I'm so frustrated I wanna try:
Sander
Die Grinder
Blow torch
Chainsaw
12 Gauge pump action Shotgun!!!

Anybody have ideas?

are you trying to take the adhesive off of the emblem itself or the car?

heat it up first with a head gun or something like that, then use googone.

As Phobic said, you definitely need to apply heat -- I used a hair drier!

To take it off the car itself i used a 3M Tape remover wheel. something like $15 and attached to my cordless drill. don't keep it rotating in one spot too long.

heat it up first with a head gun or something like that, then use googone.

this. (if you use a heat gun go easy so you don't wreck your paint.)

I just made sure it was a hot summer day (think 100+ degrees with 100%+ humidity) with high humidity and it was pretty easy coming off.

3m adhesive remover works the best
