Hid kit for fog light

I swapped out my headlights with a 6000k hid kit last week. I like how they look and now want to do my fog lights. My question is where would be the best place to mount the ballast?

My guess would be near the vents on either side of the bumper to keep them as far from the engine heat as possible.
Mounted mine inside the bumper with good 3M tape... Plenty of room in there. HIDs in the fogs are crazy bright!
Here's a daytime shot. Both HID sets are 6000's! Only took about an hour and a half to do both.

That looks real nice!
Thanks for the picture and the idea!
not a problem!

Cool! How did you get to the fog lights? Did you have to remove the front bumper to do this?
Yeah you need to remove the bumper.

Can you run hid's in both your headlights and fogs without needing a relay?

there is a plastic skid plate attached to the underside of the bumper. It's held in place by 6 or 7 10mm bolts. Just unbolt it and the plate will slide out. It's a little tight in there so be carefull when handling your bulbs.
what size bulbs are used for the low beams and the fogs? Im trying to get some HIDs and need to know the bulbs to get. I cant find that info.

these look real good, cant wait to get myself some!

removing the bumper take 10 minutes, and def makes things easier to work on.

is there a DIY for installing this on fogs and low beams? Ive never done it and would not really know where to start.
