I'M NOT AN ELECTRONICS WHIZ, BUT I WOULD THINK YOU WOULD WIRE TO THE IGNITION SWITCH, MAY IN THE FUSE BOX(?) SO THEY COME ON/AND GO OFF WITH THE KEY.

I don't have the vent lights, but I wired in some LED fog lights as running lights. I used an "add-a-circuit" off the ignition fuse.

I don't reall understand the add a circuit. Can you ease exain how you did it?

I ordered the lights from VLED.com. To install them, I ran the (+) wires into the add-a-circuit, grounded the (-) wires to the chassis, pulled the ignition fuse from the engine bay fuse box, plugged the add-a-circuit into the ignition slot in the fuse box, then put a 10A fuse for the lights and a 7.5A for the ignition into the add-a-circuit. Now the lights come on automatically with the ignition on

I ran the behind the bumper with some adhesive zip tie posts, had to remove the grill for better access.

So, using this idea I tried to do the same but having issues. With the add a circuit in the ignition spot and my lights grounded, the are constantly on. What am I doing wrong?

you have it tapped into a constant 12v you need a source that comes on when the ignition is on the "ON" position and then cuts power when on the "OFF" position

Looking at the fuse box under the hood, what would be a good source? I thought IG2 would have been. Also tried RAD No.1. Are all the fuses under the hood constant power?
