Could somebody please tell me if the temperature control knob on my 2008 xB is supposed to light up?

I noticed that the vent select and fan speed knobs both light up, but the temperature knob does not. The AC on/off light is the only thing that turns on.

I recently had a head unit installed in my B and I am not sure if something was damaged or what.

I would really appreciate some help. Thanks in advance.

I have two leds out in the first two knobs. Third one is fine. They are small led things, mine went out when I was messing around in there two

Sorry, I'm not clear on what you meant. Is it supposed to light up?

All three large knobs (vent output select, temperature control, and fan speed) are supposed to light up at night.

A/C, Recirculating/fresh, and rear defrost switches are also supposed to light up at night. In addition, an LED indicates they are on/off, day or night.

I agree. All of mine light up (though the actual temperature one is rather dim except for the white part).

If you're going to put in new led's to replace the ones that aren't working you should think about doing a color swap.

I swapped my knobs to purple an left the buttons orange. The purple is super dim though. I was looking at swapping the orange out and the spring for the circulation button flew out so I gotta replace the knob. 70 bucks from Toyota. Would be nice to have it in az right now but whatever.

Anyone know the led size or part number to get some new ones?
