im new at this site but idk if this is the right forum to ask but..
i just installed a system and i think the remote wire shorted out on something and now my radio is shot, i tryed all the fuses that i know of. but nothing i can find about the radio fuse or my radio is shot. I need help to find out which fuse powers the radio asap!!! bc i cant drive with no tunes lol

check under the hood as well. it also may have a fuse behind the radio. aftermarket is a good way to go, but the factory wires have no power so the aftermarket wont either unless you hotwire it, which is bad practice. its a fuse somewhere tho, keep looking.

yeah i did, and one says "rad" 15amp but looks like someone replace it with an 30amp but nothing is blown and u say a fuse behind the radio?? u mean a fuse on the unit it self or a fuse on a wire deep in the dash?? and i got power from a lime green wire but thats it i bought a wire kit for an aftermarket radio well see when i buy one

ya, if there is no power to the radio currently, then there wont be to the aftermarket using the factory harness. LMk what you are looking for with a radio, i can facilitate. the fuse would be directly connected to the back of the radio, sometimes behind the harness plug. normally a 10-15 amp.

Nothing man, theres 2 power wires to the radio, the remote wire (acc) is not sending ANY POWER, all the fuses are good for the acc.. and i cant find any fuses behind the radio.. the power wires go into all the other wires all wraped up.. so idk what to do until wed i got a appointment with the dealer ship. but i wanna fix it bc right now the aftermarket radio is working but i jumped the (all time hot wire) with the remote so the radio and amp is always on :/ so i need help lol
