Anyone have an good ideas of how to install and xm antenna becasue i hate seeing that little black wire running out of my door. I just some of you might have a tip or trick for me.

Anyone uodated the software on the pioneer nav that came on the 6.0? How can I do it and what does it help with?

I had SIRIUS installed last week (I love it!). The guy who installed it put the SIRIUS antenna wedged between the dashboard and the winshield and you can barley see it. No wires running outside of the car at all.

When I have time I'll post some pictures of it for you.

I ran mine inside the car, down the passenger side under the door sills and cargo area mat, along the weather strip on the hatch opening, coming out just behind the stock antenna...works just fine.

Mount your xm antenna on the dash or under it. I have my nav antenna just to the left of the gauge cluster, the panel around the gauges pops off, i have it wedged between the dash and the vent tubing.

As far as the pioneer map update. I have not updated mine. But check out avic411 forums. Tons of info pioneer units im sure theres lots of posts on there that can help.

There's my SIRIUS antenna. Now it's back to being stuck between the window and the dash (like it was when I got it installed). The reason it is pulled out some in the picture is because I was experimenting with differnet placements for better signal.
