Hey, I am new here, and this may have been asked (although I could not find it in a search)

But:

09 xB, I purchased a Pioneer AVIC8200NEX, now the pioneer stock in my car, will the plug be the same as what came with the new head unit or will wiring need to be done? I know I will have to wire the camera, bluetooth and steering wheel controls, but does the actual stereo need to be wired or will the stock plug work from 1 pioneer to another? Maybe someone has done this before.

Just asking because if its that easy I can probably do it myself, but if not, I'll have it done... Thanks a bunch.

Chances are the majority of the wires (power, ground, speakers) will be the same as 2011 and previous. See about halfway down:

If your new unit has plugs like the two on the left above the RCA jacks, you be most of the way there. If not you may want to get an adaptor harness so you won't have to cut into the factory wiring and can later on swap back in the old unit:

As you said, you still have to wire the camera, Bluetooth, and steering wheel controls. Also the Aux and USB sockets. Have fun!

Hey, I appreciate it. That Amazon connector was probably what I was after, but did not know exactly what part to get. I've ordered it, and I'm still waiting for my IR camera to get here. Then I'll partake in the mission to get it done. It looks pretty much straight forward from there.

I called a few places here in Vegas, and the average price was 275ish. Not including if I needed a new bracket. I don't think I will since I'm swapping double din for double din, I'm pretty sure I can use the current bracket in use from the factory stereo. Thanks a bunch!

Caution: while it may be true that you may be able to use the current factory bracket for your new stereo, please be aware that the Scion factory radio is wider than a standard double DIN unit. So unless you get an aftermarket bracket with filler panels, your new unit will have gaps at the sides.

Here's an off subject question, I have another thread, about seats I've bought. They're a leather oem set with heated seats, any idea of how I hook up the heated part to make them functional? I'm replacing the cloth only because I do uber and Lyft, and I'm deathly afraid of a vomiter in my car. And leather will be a whole **** of a lot easier to clean. And has anyone ever removed the rear bench?
