I've been debating back and forth for awhile whether to keep my K&N SRI or to get a cold air intake. Don't get me wrong I like my short ram and it has a good heat shield with the rubbing tubing that goes along the outer edge of the shield. Whenever I drive I sometimes check under the hood and the filter and inner part of the heat shield is never hot or warm so I'm guessing it works. Any thoughts? If I switched would there be any noticeable difference?

How about performance wise? Whenever I'm at a stop light and I give into the gas when the light is green the SRI pulls the XB pretty hard but I don't feel it at high rpms.
