I created this thread to mainly discuss adding luxury automatic features to our xBs that you would find in high-end luxury vehicles such as automatic headlights and rain sensing wipers. Of course there might be more that you can think of.

With our respected member "BrickPig", he had guided me to create a schematic for Automatic headlights. Once the parts are in, I will be starting my mod, and will try to take photos of each step as a guide for others who's interested. 20131121_022142.jpg | Flickr - Photo Sharing!

For rain sensing wipers, I have found these.

DC 12V Rain Sensor Module with Relay Control Module Sensitivity Weather Module | eBay

Felio Group New Rain Sensor Module Truck 908 1300 1200 1100 1000 Isuzu Amigo 100 | eBay

However, it would take some implementation before we can add these modules to your xBs.

Welcome everyone for their suggestions.

It's time for our xB to be luxury... lol:cheers:

I actually went another way. Instead of using the light sensor and the delay timing that I already bought, (grr found something better after I bought them) I actually found a product that do rain sensing and light sensing in a nicely package module. I will take photos of my installation steps for others to see once the product arrives.

I got the stuff, now the headache part is how to connect the wires. Does anyone has the schematics for the xb or know where I can tap those wires to? Any help is appreciated. Here's are my photos of the product.

This is the schedule instruction provided with the product. It seems not too hard if I know where the wires are.

You can grab the wiper wires coming out of the steering column. The headlight wires you might need to get closer to the headlights as I believe the control wires coming out of the column are negative triggers which the module isn't built for. Best bet would be to open the column so you can see the harnesses directly and then test the wires to confirm.

Bump,

I still have a hard time trying to find the wire schematics for the steering column for adding the auto head light and rain sensor modules. Anyone might happen to know where I can find any info on these? Anything will help. Appreciated!
