Hello everybody! My name is Emanuel, and I'm proud to say that I'm the owner of a 2009 Scion xB. I bought it this past week, right before my wedding, and have already driven it to and from my honeymoon and I'm in love!!

My xB is white in color and has the 5spd manual tranny and has pretty much all the stock options. I've owned several cars including (in order of ownership), 93 Mitsubishi Eclipse GST, 92 Nissan 240SX hatch, 2001 Honda Civic EX, 2003 Ford Focus ZX3, and most lately a 2008 Nissan Altima 3.5SE sedan with 6spd tranny. I bought the Altima right before I shipped off for the Army with the intentions of refinancing it with some extra Army money when I came back home. Other things came up financially, and my priorities changed, so I chose to lower my monthly payments, lower my insurance costs, and what I was spending on gas, so I went and traded for my new Scion.

I always liked the xB's since they first came out and now I've got one. As far as modding my cars, the Altima was modded lightly with some 19'' TSW Thruxton wheels (which I might put on the Scion), Eibach springs, Fujita Intake, custom exhaust, just to name a few. My 03 Focus was heavily modded including a custom turbo kit, Konig wheels, Tein coilovers, and much more.

I was originally looking for a 1st gen xB to get used, but the neg. equity my Altima brought in forced me to buy a 2nd Gen, which I have no complaints about. But I had to search redo my search for parts to add to the Scion. I already have a list of parts, but since I don't know much about the xB's, I'd thought that I would ask you guys and gals.

First I want to get some rims. I already have my 19's, but I want to go with some 16'' XXR's. I've seen another xB2 owner running 16'' x 8'' 0+ wheels but he rubs since he's lowered. I was looking at the XXR 002 in the 16'' x 7'' 38+ but I don't know how it will look or if it will rub when lowered. If I have to bite the bullet and get the 16'' x 8'' wheels then how hard will it be to roll the fenders to the point where it won't rub? If anybody has any info about these wheels, and opinions would be greatly appreciated!

I know that I want to add the Tanabe DF210's, AEM CAI, HKS exhaust, C/F hood and spoiler, and some Luminics headlight bulbs. I also want to get a roof rack with basket, but I can't find any reasonable deals as the Yakima and Thule products are both over $500 for rack and basket.

Finally I had a question about a front lip that I can't seem to find and buy anywhere...

If someone knows where to buy, please let me know!!

As you can see, I have a lot of plans, but I really need some help in some areas. So if someone can get me some info on the wheels and lip that would be awesome. Again, thanks very much, and I hope to post some pics up of my new and old rides soon!

i believe that is a mugen front lip.. they usually make it for hondas but i notice that they make them for tc's now...i had one my 95 honda civic.. and i was thinking of putting it on but it didn't fit and i ended falling in love with the five axis... allot of people put mugen lips on different cars because then can be cut and bent to fit almost any car... almost not every.. they come in abs,and poly urethane... the poly urethane should be the one you are looking for because they can bend and twist as for trying to bend plastic it will break.. but i dont know witch car he got that lip from civic, integra, accord,i really dont know... the 95 civic 2 door front lip are short i tried to do that with the box already... 96 civic and up bumpers are much wider.. i had a friend that put on on a chevy aveo and another friend that put it on a mitsubishi mirage.. i am guessing that the person who is using that lip probably modified it to it the xb.. i do not know.. but it is for sure a mugen front lip... i love those lips... i did some searching for you and i cannot find any mugen style front lips for the xb.. hope i was some help to you... i will keep searching to help you out...

I'll post up pics of my baby soon. I've been busy lately, and I've put 1200 miles on it since June 20th! I've settled on using my 19'' x 8'' +40 TSW Thruxtons. The only problem is that when I had them on my old car, I bent one of the rims pretty badly and ruined the tire. When I took them off my car, I found out that another tire had a bubble in the sidewall, so I have to buy 1 rim and 2 tires. My grand total at discount tire comes out near $550.

I was also thinking of after I do save up and buy the rim and tires, that I'll take the rims and get them powdercoated in either gold or bronze, but I don't know how the silver rivets would look. Here are some pics of my TSW on my old car...

I think that on my xB, they'd be HOT!!

One question though...When I lower the box using the DF210's, you think this wheel/tire/suspension combo will cause any rubbing??
Again the wheel size is 19'' x 8'' 40 offset and the tires are Falken 452's size 225/35/19.
