Hmmm...sounds like it's the original design. The revised version that just came out last month is more expensive.

Geezer is describing the sway bar.
The strut brace/bar is in the engine bar and attaches to the bolts at the top of the front struts.
The rear suspension on out boxes uses shock absorbers, rather than struts.

I did one on mine. Mainly just for the looks upfront. The motor needed something more in there. I am running hotchkis sway bars front and rear. So I didnt notice a night and day difference. But it does add something to our motor.

I've been considering getting a front strut bar... You guys with it notice much of a difference? Also, how come there aren't rear strut bars :dontgetit: (or at least they aren't very popular)?
WE don't have rear struts. We have shocks.
The top of struts flex a bit, as they work different than shocks, combining the work of upper a-arms with the work of shocks.
As the top of the rear shocks aren't moving (they are WELL locked in by the main vehicle structure), connectors aren't needed.
A strut bar links and locks the 2 strut tower tops together, reducing flex.

Not only are they securly monted, but the xB has rear I-beam axle. Meaning there is no side to side flex or movment. Only up and down. So a upper rear bar would be absolutly pointless and just waste space in the rear trunk.

THAT is what I was thinking by vehicle structure . . .
Plus, the rest of the rear structure.

The issue in the front is the HUGE gap wherein the mill sits.
