If you must run a front plate this will give you a much cleaner look. It screws into the front tow hook

I took it off the bumper for a cleaner bumper. If I wanted to keep it on the bumper, I wouldn't have moved it. I didn't want to put it on the lower grill, because that is where the only air gets to the radiator when moving.
It was just a suggestion. I think your current placement destroys the look of the entire front end of your ride. That said it is your ride, do what you like.

Sorry, no offense was intended. You have a good idea there. It would make the plate look like it was floating, which is cool also. My original plan was to center the plate, but that is where the fans draw air when the car is stopped. I put it in the corner so that the people in the bumper-to-bumper traffic could look back and see it.
Again, no harm was meant by my comment. This is what the whole nose looks like.

Mainly,
It needs another tag on the OPPOSITE side for balance . . .

What about:

Color matched, of course.

True, but the cops would have a fit. Do you have any pics of that other mount on an xB? I think that it would require a metal frame around it to prevent the plate edges from getting bent.

What is that suppose to say? What is the history behind it?
Scikotics is pronounced like "psychotics" . . .
It is a national Scion club with many local chapters. Many Sciko are on here.

I have run without a front plate, in CA, for over a year no issues. If I ever get pulled over for it I will go with the bracket I suggested from ptuning, and take it off for shows. I do not have any pictures but I have seen it in person and it appears to be sturdy. There is a metal x type frame behind it. Cheers.

That is a good idea for a show car. After the back and forth with TartanJack, I agree with him on the symetry that balances out the profile. I thought about going to the center of the grill, but I didn't want to remove the Scion badge off the grill. I ended up placing the plate back on the bumper, but I chose to go with the aftermarket hot rod back plate and used a black metal frame to prevent bending the plate in a car wash. It still gives the floating plate look, but with a centered orientation for balance.
