Alright, so I found out my xB2 is a repo from its former owner. A bunch of friends of my family sell cars for a living and let me know that if the dealer didnt tell me this and put it on my purchase order that I could legally bring the car back to them and get a refund for every penny, which I would then jsut buy a different xB2 with, obviously. I was hoping to get something from the dealer for this because from what it seems I should have been told this and I figure I could get them to give me something like a CAI or something like that as part of my troubles.

Any Toyota dealers out there that can let me know what the deal is with this?

Did they sell it to you as a "new" vehicle? How many miles were on the odometer?

no they sold it to me as a pre-owned with about 16k on it.

Then it's not an issue. It's not like a salvage title for a vehicle that has been damaged and then rebuilt/reconditioned.

If you bought your XB as "pre-owned" with 16k on it, why would it matter if it was a repo or not? Why is it bothering you so much that it was a repo?
