i need a louder exhaust... i bought the magnaflow, and am pissed with it! has no sound, and it taps my spring on every **** bump!!!

Any ideas? i have heard the strup on youtube, but cant really judge it because the magnaflow on youtube sounds better, but in person not so much. I have also heard the trd on youtube... just want a louder tone (but not civic loud)

I have the dual Borla which is about 6 db louder than OEM. Supposedly the single Borla is 9 db louder than stock. Can't say how they compare to the Magnaflow or others out there.

Without the resonator it will be loud! Do a youtube search, you should find something you like. I just wish the youtube sound quality was more accurate...

Ricer ! hahaha, just giving you a hard time. removing the resonator wont make it too loud. i thought the magnaflow did that. hmmm i think i am going dual myself, maybe the fireball.

Hahahahaha! I used to have a 96 civic lx my sis has an 06 and my bro has a 95 integra. He just put a skunk 2 exhaust and new headers and a high flow cat and its stupid loud! I never did any work to my civic because I live really close to philly and it was way to easy to steal! I just want louder but not stupid loud. I may try the resonator and if I don't like it ill put it back on.

back on topic of exhausts... I have the Strup Cat-back and weapon-r s pipe, as well as strup header. I really like the sound, it's loud when I want it to be, and quiet when I'm cruising.

I am in the same boat you are, just about anyway. I am looking into the Strup as well and Fast Scions advertises it as a Cat back, while others list is as a Axel back.

I wish someone made a "Sport" style rather than a can. Something along the lines of the Tanabe Medalion or Greddy Spectrum for other than the XB. The Xb versions just look like an overpriced piece of pipe.
