So I bought the magnaflow and have it installed. After about an hour on the road, I heard it lightly tapping the spring and low RPM's. So I took a look and turns out the stock hanger is TOO WIDE for the Magnaflow hook!!!!! As of right now I put some duct tape on it. Still tapping the spring though. What did you guys do?!?!

In my opinion man, I'd put a spacer into the gap so the hook has little play. All you'd have to do is find the right fitting, it would be best to weld the spacer into the gap, but not everyone wants to go that route. For a nice temporary fix, the spacer would... I'm still thinking on what you could use to seal the spacer to gap with...

Hope this at least gives you an idea, man.

It does man! Thanks! I bought a smaller hanger from pepboys last night. Haven't put it on yet though.
