Hello everyone I bought my first XB yesterday and I looking for advise being I know nothing about them, I have 2004 hot lava with 200k miles with a manual transmission and the clutch doesn't slip but when driving down the road I do hear a metal on metal scrapping sound and find it unpleasant and I fond myself concerned I have talked with a few mechanics and other that own XB's and I find answers as in replacing the throw out bearing, clutch kits, Synchronizers, and new transmission all together and frankly I'm no mechanic but I do wanna see if I'm not the only one?

You can learn the basics by reading videos on YT or browsing the internet. Also, will it be best if you just bring it to an auto service shop to fix all these issues?

Sounds like a case of a bad bearing. I would bring it to a transmission shop.
