Here's what we've done so far...
Just off the truck, two miles on the odo:

First stop, new rims:

Convoluted wire and hose covers in purple:

Added 8000K HID's:

Altezza Euro-style tails:

Also tinted front windows, overhead and map lights changed to LED's...more to come.

The next things, as soon as weather permits, are underglow, new grills, vent visors, peeling the 'A' pillar, speakers/amp, bumper protector, and windshield banner...but before all that, there has to be money. Hubby and I spent the tax refund on our vehicles. Are we gearheads or what? I bought grills with bonus money. I can't believe I spend most of my extra funds on a CAR!

Sounds like a really fun project! Will the windshield banner have any words like the '09 xB did, or will it be blank? Hey, I spend a good bit of my money on my car too! (although, I'm still in school...) Haha! I don't see any problem with it at all.

I've already talked with my vinyl guys, Synthetic Designs on South Cooper Street, about a black banner that has "Murasaki 7.0" on it probably in a lavendar shade. They even downloaded an Asian font to use. I miss the banner blocking the morning and evening sun, especially this time of year.

Sorry, but the stock grills are the same as my '09...nothing special. The vent visors are WeatherTech and I found a good price at autoanything.com. I just love messing around with my vehicle. Hubby is more addicted than I. He even fabricated his own grills. Amazing stuff.

The Murasaki is looking great! I'm in Florida now (no front plates) after 53 years in Texas (Arlington High - class of 1959)...if I ever move back I'll want that neat license plate holder. 8)
