Well, imagine my surprise on browsing through some old photos. :lol:
I found a picture of me behind the wheel of a 1967 VW I owned.
Around 1980-81 I took a hacksaw to the body and cut it across the top from the b-pillars, and down the rear window frames, and removed all that sheet metal and rear window. I then put on the fiberglass cap as you see it , although the paint job you see is from later, the cap was white on installation and the bug was green.
The shape of things to come, no?
