They take a little tuning, but pretty nice once dialed in.
I started on full soft and I had to pull over and turn the dampening up within 3 blocks. Turned the fronts up 5 clicks, drove on the interstate. Had to get off the interstate after a couple miles to turn up 5 more clicks. Next day I turned up another 5. I left the rears at full soft for a couple weeks. I turned the rears up 5 clicks, and seems to ride and handle pretty well.
I do feel that they ride better than the Hotchkis springs.
Only way that they would ride stiffer if you went lower, is if you turned up the dampening. Which makes sense. You will want the car to ride stiffer so you don't bottom out on little dips. I need to adjust the shock length in the rear. I also rolled the rear fenders. Front fender liners have more than a few holes rubbed through.
