It's Classic Metalic Silver with a standard transmission. Only options were the floor mats and rear bumper protection. We test drove automatic, but ordered a standard....glad we did. It is a lot more fun to drive. I'm still getting used to the higher reving engine...I find it easier to start from a stop in 2nd gear...it that bad for this xmission?...traded in a '01 Volvo XC70 for this...PITA....hope to learn a lot here.

It's only bad for the clutch. The trans can handel it, but it's still not a good idea.

i start mine in 2nd a lot. it's so much easier, but i try to start from 1st more, i just have a tendency to burn rubber when starting from 1st.

Maybe 'coz 1st is too short, it's more convenient starting from 2nd. Yeah with a 2.4, it could prolly start on 3rd too, it's all in the release.

Anyway, I start mine on "D".
