Hello, I just bought a white 2011 xB. I am probabaly not the normal buyer (61 year old retired male whose other car is a 02 electron blue corvette convertible) but the wisdon of it's design and the "quirky" appearance just spoke to me!
I'd like to do several things to the car and maybe people can point me in the right direction? I'd like to get a decal in dark red that I could put on the lower part near the leading edge of the the front doors just to dress it up a little. I would also like to get some dark plastic vent shades for the windows (rains alot in FL and I like to crack the windows) and I would like to get a trailer hitch (class I or II) because I have a bike rack that mounts to a trailer hitch.
Anyone that can offer any help or guidance?

Welcome to the site. We are the same age so you are normal. Don't know what you have in mind for your decal but as for vent shades I have the Weathertech. Just remember, inside every "old" guy is a young guy who is asking WTF happened. Enjoy the site. Lots of really nice people here. Enjoy your ride.

I am also the same age. Believe it or not, we are the normal purchasers of xB's. I think our poll has more than 50% over the age of 50.

I also have the Weathertech vent visors. The heat in Texas makes them a necessity.

Welcome to the site and enjoy your new car!

I bought Weathertech visors for my Xb this summer. I like that they fit in the channel instead of being taped on the outside of the door. I think they give a cleaner look. They are about twice the cost though.

Welcome to the forum!

I have the regular AVS vent visors, and I like them... I got my sister some AVS in-channel vent visors for her Nissan X-Terra for her birthday, and I wish I had gotten the Weathertech in-channel ones. My neighbor switched from the regular ones to the in-channel ones on his Silverado too. They're just nicer.

Welcome to the forum trosco!

I have not yet purchased Window Vents yet, but I have installed a trailer hitch for my bike rack and I have installed decals on the doors.

Hitch just bolts on, no drilling required!
