After waiting years for Scion to come North to Canada I finally got my hands on a 2011 xB - Army Rock. The new boots are TSW Croft 17 X 8 (40 offset) with Falken Ziex ZE-912 rubber (225/45 X 17). I have had a TRD front tower brace and rear (anti) sway bar installed. I’ll probably wait a season and lower it next spring.

Thanks BoxGT1... boots is more Canadian I guess (as in "It's snowing again... put your boots on!"). I'm going to give it one winter season with the factory rims and dedicated snow tires to see how it handles and then make a decision on lowering!

It was worth the long wait! I almost tried to bring one in a few years ago from Waite Toyota/Scion in Watertown but there was a lot of paperwork. There are always a few used ones around but the speedo's are in mph so again it's a bit of a hassle. Anyway, thanks again BamBam!

Thanks Dale! It's not the snow you have to worry about up here.... it's the freezing rain/black ice! Just ordered a complete set of Weathertech Floor Liners to protect me carpets from salt damage.

You're absolutely right about the paint being able to take on the qualities of surroundings, especially the taupe tones. It has really grown on me but it's not for everyone. People either really like it or... well lets just say they have a strong dislike!

Thanks again for the colour comps! People either seem to dig it or NOT. I did discover the mph /kms conversion by accident... I guess it's set up that way to satisfy both US and Can. markets. I'm rertired but still active in music and it's drummers ride for sure!
