If I read things right it appears fuse ECU-B controls them both. That cavity is empty on my car. It shows a 10A fuse goes there, but the cavity won't accept a fuse. VERY CONFUSING !!!

Clarification...ECU-B2 is the open cavity...and manual says it's for A/C, but my A/C works fine

my '08 doesn't show a ECU-B2. just a ECU-B with a red 10A fuse; below it is a short-circuit plug. the fuse is labeled below the actual fuse in th diagram (FYI). have you checked for disconnections under the driver and passenger seats?

Everything under seat is connected. Guess I'll possibly find out what's going on tomorrow morning at the dealer.

Good luck, dude ! All my alerts are OE and they're pretty much helpful (true, there's always the possible scenario where some feature is an annoyance). Unless you have a particular concern, I'd pursue getting it restored to OE.

UPDATE:
FIXED....dealer turned them back on. Apparently previous owner had dealer turn them off. Best thing is they did it as courtesy and no charge.

Intermitten wiper stalk (did that yesterday)
Drag DR19 wheels/Nitto Motivos (17") - done to replace 19" TRD's
Alpine head unit and components for front and rear doors
Window Vent Shades (done)
pinstipes
undercarraige sound deadening (thinking Ziebart)
DRL's if I can find some to fit without a lot of modification in the vent area

Don't forget things like-glove box lite,cargo lite,and maybe even
footwells. I'd go with LED's (just a thought),that's what I'm doing this season and so far everything's going in great.

post a review on the nitto motivo tires. what tread width are you thinking? i have the nitto nt850 225/45 on 17 x 7.5. perfect fit, smooth, quiet ride. i'm considering the motivo for my spare set of rims.

Read good things about them and so far am pleased. Definately sweet in the corners....I've pushed it to see if they break away and they STICK! Normal ride is much improved over the 19's that were on the car. Quieter too.

point is, they are safety features that aren't/weren't working when you took delivery. if it were me id send an email to the regional Scion representative who in turn will most likely contact the dealer that sold you the box who in turn will call you with an apology.

Long story... prolly needs a thread of it's own but here goes. DONT WASTE YOUR TIME WITH REGIONAL REPS!

I have a work car I drive all week but always wanted an XB. Went to Memphis, TN to the Scion dealer / large chain of other brands etc. Purchased one that was certified. It was cold out so through all of my checking I didn't hear the a/c compressor engage and the salesman said it was normal since Scion was about efficiency and it was only 40 degrees out. I didn't have a reason to be suspicious since Scion's certification is so thorough, purchased it, came home and didn't drive it for 3 days since I have a work car. Meanwhile it warmed up outside. Got in it the 3rd day, a/c didn't work. took it to my local dealer and they found hundreds $$$ in repairs and stated they had heard that dealer merely "paper certifies". Called Scion rep, lodged complaint and here's how that works. You call, file a complaint, they contact the dealer and the DEALERSHIP tells them when it's been resolved. They do not go by customer resolution but they go by when the DEALERSHIP says it's resolved. Basically your just telling them and they make a file that they close when the dealer tells them to. You can open multiple complaints and they will close them multiple times. Actually... I should maybe make a separate thread so others can learn from my mistake...
