I'm new to the forum and a proud owner of a 2012 xB in super white w/5 spd manuel.
I want to take just a moment to thank all of the many members on this board that willingly contribute their time and talent to us less experienced xB owners. You've been a huge help to me and I'm sure others as well.
That being said I have a question. I hope I'm not rehashing an old topic, but I did a search of the achieves and it didn't return any results.
My question is:
Does anyone know if the xB that appears at the top of the page is a actual car or a artist's conception? The reason I ask is because I really likes the ground effects and wheel treatment on the car and would love to do something simular to mine. If anyone knows the answer to this and also can suggest some of the suppliers of the the alterations I would be forever in your debt. Thank in advance.
Highest regards, Kenny

I believe that is one of the early "promo" Bs from 07. It was here when I joined back in 2008. Eric, the original owner put it there and it has remained.

Welcome to the site! The car above is 2008-2010 style (our 2011-2012 have different front and read end treatments) with TRD wheels (19" I think) and a Five Axis body kit.

Unfortunately there are only a few body kits for the 2011-2012 style cars. The side skirts will likely fit, however we have different front vents and different tail/backup lights.

If you really want a body kit you can try to buy a 2011 body kit for the RS8 "Voodoo" however they typically run about $1100, if you can find someone who is selling one.

Have fun with your car!

Oh by the way there are a number of aftermarket wheels with chrome/shiny rims and colored centers. Not just black, other colors too. I got mine from Home - Discount Tire Direct? they typically have a special price on a set of 4 wheels.

Also, a number of people on this forum have painted their brake calipers, not just red but other colors too. You need to use a special heat resistant paint like G2 or something similar.

Have fun!

Or . . .
Swap noses and rears with an 08-10 white, get the kit and wheels (both of which have popped up in classifieds-> and, I think, have been on Phobic's white). There, you'd have it.

Also, welcome to the forum!
I hope for many posts to follow.

Thanks, again, everyone for rallying to my plea for help. Exactly what I would have expected from this great bunch of members !!!
The answers weren't exactly what I wanted to hear, but there's always plan "B".
I'll keep you posted as things progress. Regards, Kenny
