Heck, it controls an automatic transmission...and looks like a hazard in the event of a crash...again IMO doesn't work for me!

I think the "IMPALEMENT" says it all....and to think I bought the xB for the safety features (little did I know how much fun it is to drive!)

It really looks way bigger in the picture than it really is. Im working on planning kind of a Mad Max theme for the car. I went on a quest for the most obscure thing I could put on my shifter and that just happened to be what I found. I got sick of the normal shift knobs out there and coming from the whole rat rod world my mind kind of went to large pieces of scrap metal lol

I'm thinking that's the same theme evil is going for in his "mods." We'll see when it's finally revealed.

So . . .
Are you going to "keep going" on that theme and make a "rat rod box?"
It does kinda remind me of a mix of the 30s square backed railed car and the front of the early 50s "shoebox" Fords.

With some Divco thrown in . . .

Yes! Stole my idea, you dog. Looks like a freakin' mortar round! I want to do the same with a live .50 cal - the kind with an exploding projectile.
Can't wait to lock that thing in a vise and start drilling-out the back-end of the shell for the threaded insert. Don't worry, I'll wear gloves and goggles.................

Manual or auto?
They are two different sizes.

Manual: M12 x 1.25
Auto: M8 x 1.25
(As I recall)
