I'm planning on installing the NF210s for my box. With that I'm going to get new struts and shocks to have a more relax piece of mind on my behalf. Do they have to be performance shocks/struts like the Tokico ones only or what? I'm just trying to save as much money as possible.

you don't need new shocks and struts for a spring install, dude. My df210s were on stock shocks. ****, some pieces of my air ride is on stock struts haha.

but, if you're looking for performance go with tokico, they're a solid strut. The current air setup I have uses tokico struts and they've been great.

I have a little bit over 41,000 miles though on my XB. Won't I need to get them with that much mileage on them?

not at all man. struts are good for at least 100k.

Depends on your tire setup as well... My front struts are going out and hitting bump stop on large humps/speedbumps (@>30k miles) after being lowered on TRD springs with stock struts and the 19"TRD wheels... The low pro tires make your strut work twice as hard... Thank goodness I have the 100k mile warranty.

yeah, just swap your springs and get an alignment and you'll be fine. Chances are you will need new struts eventually, but not because of the spring drop, just because of normal maintenance and wear and tear.

I took my 08' xb to the tire shop a couple of weeks back b/c i'm getting featering on the outer edges of my front tires and she has a slight 'crawl' to the right side. 2 front end shops have already told me its within specs on alignment. i've got a stock suspension setup, no adjustments have been made to it. i don't run it on dirt roads, mostly asphalt that is in decent shape. the shop said i need to start thinking about new front struts soon and the rear struts need to be done not too long afterward. my xb only has 71K miles on it, so that was disappointing news to me. i thought they oughta last 100k miles as well. appears that is not the case. i don't think i'd be having this problem with a honda product.
