Well I have had my xB for a few months now...bought it in mid October. It is a great little car and I have just begun to mod it. Here is what I have done so far:
  • K&N short ram intake
  • Borla dual exhaust
  • Trailer hitch (towed my Harley home from Omaha 1200 mile trip)
  • Tanabe DF 210 springs
  • 20x 8.5 + 35 Stance TC5 wheels
  • Billet upper and lower grills
  • Small Pinstriping on the hood (plan on slightly more)
  • Temp and Volt gauges
  • Scion leather wrap wheel (e-bay score!)
Upcoming mods:
  • stereo upgrade (Amp, Sub and Seperates ; Big three and dedicated amp feed)
  • Interior Lighting
  • Bespoke Navigation add to my existing touch screen
  • back up camera: I hope to figure out how to integrate this into existing touch screen or change rear view mirror with a combo unit.
  • Complete sound deadning, doors roof floors
  • Painted brake calipers/ rotors
  • Clazzio seat covers and matching door inserts
  • sunroof???
  • Possible exterior lighting (wheel wells and undercarrige)

You need a rear spoiler!
Yes, I haven't decided yet on whether to buy the Seibon carbon fiber one, the e-bay color matched one or leave it off. My girfriend's car has it and about 15 others around me have it, so I am leaning towards not running one. BTW the girlfreind's is an 08 blackberry crush...TRD exhaust and wing...for Christmas I gave her billet grills and an orange swirl shift knob. I'll have to get pics of her car... if I can get her to clean it...lol

Wait a second, are you dropped with a tow hitch??? I've been thinking about a tow hitch so I can get a trailer for my bike but I thought if I lowered the tow hitch would be useless
Really liking this... I like the exhaust and window trims a lot, looks great.

Yeah and he's on DF210s so it's a bigger drop too. But he's on 20" rims and he did not mention what size tires he is on. So his net drop may (or may not) be as much as someone else with wheels/tires close to stock rolling diameter.

Still, the departure angle of our cars is much higher (more clearance) than the approach angle. So adding a hitch on a lowered car might still be OK.

You could always do a no-cost trial on your car by taping a wooden or Styrofoam block onto your back bumper to see what kind of clearance you could expect. If you drive around with it for a bit (and ignore all the weird looks you will get) the "rub record" (or lack of it) will also help with your decision.

Agree it's a common mod. But it also makes the car look much different than pure stock.

CF would at least be different than the OEM-style color-matched rear spoiler that most others are running.

I was looking for a 3-piece roof spoiler a while back but no one seems to make one that is "clean" looking...
As far as the hitch goes, I used it prior to the drop, but I did tow a trailer on these wheels/tires. I think if I tow again I will add the "helper" air springs inside my coils. also, this hitch still gets use from my bicycle rack occasionally. That's why I kept it on there.
Oh, and the hitch has never hit the ground. When I towed, I installed the reciever upside down to give the trailer tounge a little lift.
looks great...

are you using spacers in the back?
No, they are the same front and rear. +35 offset. I wondered if they changed the width of the rear in 2013/14? I don't think mine could use the spacer?
welcome! Love your xB and those wheels are awesome!

I doubt it since the driveline has been the same since 2008.

Some people are running 15mm spacers (roughly 5/8") in the rear to get the faces of their rear wheels about the same amount of poke/flush/etc as the faces of their front wheels. By doing this they don't have to "stagger" their wheels sizes to get this look and can still rotate their tires.

BTW what size tire are you running? Curious. ???
Are these the window guards you have- Auto Ventshade 894002 Seamless Ventvisor, 4 Piece
Auto Ventshade?
yea those are the seamless avs. I have the same ones... I really like the look of them. They're only 70 shipped on amazon

Ok thx. I like your custome door and bumber guards also.
Welcome! **** that's a great start, and awesome your gf has one, hah. I love your wheels and grills with that color! Wish I could go without a front plate.
