Hey everybody. Before I forget, you guys are awesome support. (*** Kissing)
So I will be ordering my SW XB2 with all kinds of good stuff on July 24th hopefully when the Cash For Clunkers Program is in full swing.
Question is, my salesman says the short throw shifter is not available for the 2010 XB2.
I was really looking forward to this.
Any thoughts? Is it BS.

P.S. After reading all the nightmare stories on scratches and other defects, I WILL be checking my XB thoroughly before signing final paperwork and I suggest/hope everyone else does so as well.
Thanks.

Well from what I have been reading they are updating the transmission for the 2010. If thats so then there won't be a short throw shifter for a little while. Give it time though it will be avaliable eventually.
Hmmmm, is a six-speed manual transmission in the works? (or at least a five-speed automatic?)

I get access to the cars before they are released and I have already designed a new STS for the xB 2010.

I highly doubt it. I wouldn't imagine either transmission would be remotely close to the Scion price-point.
