Got this email from my contact at the Toyota/Scion dealership at Toyota Carlsbad this morning.

Rudy,

I spoke with “Josh” at the Toyota parts technical center.

Josh was able to give me the shipping weight if the steel road wheel. This is the wheel used on the ground, and there is only one kind , per the EPC.
The wheel ships in a cardboard box , so one might have to guess at the weight of the packing material.

9260 grams

This works out to 20.25 lbs each package, each wheel.

i just weighed a box 17x17x17 and packing material at about 3 lbs. So the wheels weigh about 17 lbs. each. I will not be buying wheels soon as the weight difference from this info does not out weigh the cost of new wheels or the gas mileage saved as 14 lbs wheels cost alot.
