I've got an iPad app that works reasonably well. I am taking a little different approach. The guy who sold me my xB paints motorcycles and cars. He selling Scions because he got laid off from his architect job. I'm bought Scion because I got laid off from my IT job.

But also there is a cashier at my local Trader Joe's that is really into 50's & 60s hot rods. He does paintings of them and has a very nice 50's Merc himself.

So what I'm going to do is work with him to sketch out a relatively simple paint scheme that is a modern take on 60s hot rods/muscle cars. Not something that just copies those styles, but something to bring out the same feeling. We'll see. I am going to drop the car about 1.5", but I may drop the same front and rear instead of a little more on the rear. That will keep the rake in the car and I think that works with the kind of look I want to get.

And then I'm going to have the Scion guy paint it. Probably be middle of summer before it really gets moving.

For BSP, go take a look at the House Of Kolor site. There are some good reds, but check the pearl and candy oranges/tangerines. They would be excellent with black. Maybe just racing stripes the length of the car, a fade from the front or something like that.

Already have the BC Racing coilovers. But the pillowball mounts and camber plates won't be available for a few more weeks, so I am waiting to do the install.

But while we're jacking threads, I like the Top Gear avatar. You should hear my 4 year old doing the intro. " tonight...". He's got the accent down cold. First time I heard him do it while playing with his cars, I busted a gut.
