Hello, all. I am a new 2009 xB owner and loving the car. I like that I can control my iPod through the radio controls but hope someone can help me with one item - I listen to alot of talks on my iPod that are an hour or so long and sometimes need to pause or stop them and pick up next time I am driving. I can't see anywhere to do that having the iPod controlled by the radio so I have it set to control all things through my iPod. I'd love to use the radio to control it if I could figure a way to stop songs(talks). Is there a way? Thanks for any help.

There's no pause button on the HU, so I guess you'll need to use the iPod itself. I don't have one, so I couldn't tell you for sure. I assume it's the same deal as w/ CDs where your only options via the HU are to power off or mute. Really, how hard would it have been to add a dual function button to pause...

Yeah best way to pause is to turn it off or change the function. Muting it will not pause it.

thanks to both of you for your kindness in taking time to reply with info. I will try switching functions - I assumed it wold just keep playing - cool if it stops where it is when I switch. Also alot of time I want to stop listening when I stop driving so if it stops playing at whatever spot I am at when the car stops that can work, too.
