Funny to describe an xB like this but completely shutting off the traction control turns it into a whole other animal! Lol. A box chirping tires in first and second gear and no power lag like when the traction control system is on is fun. Hey I know we have a practical economy car and it's no sports car by any means, but it's still fun for its class. And I had a wrx.

Yeah I wish there was a way to turn off the TCS. I know you can use the dash switch to turn it off until you reach 30 mph (then it reactivates itself).

I seem to recall there is a way to turn it off when you first start your car (but then it resets itself next startup, right?).

I think if you hold the button down for a few seconds it stays off. Until you turn the car off.
Yes true, pressing it once shuts it but there's still a nanny, holding it down completely shuts it off no computer helps you then! Lol. Not saying it's ever a good idea to mess with a very important safety feature, but it does add a fun factor in the right conditions.

In regular mode the xB TCS kicks in what seems way too early.

Pressing it again whether in either mode with the car running will put it back to normal, and of course shutting the car off will also put it to normal.

Just bought a prius wiper switch from eBay for $30.00 from a 2007, it looked in great condition, now let's see if I can do the work lol.

Also "camera source" has an oem type back up camera for the non GPS 2013+ touch screen radio, it mounts in same spot as the rs, wonder if it's worth it and if it works with a manual transmission.

I'm all over the place on whether I should get an oem, k&n, or aFe engine air filter. K&N seems to get great reviews and fans, yet still has the other side hating on it.

I did a DIY video once but end up deleting it accidentally; you can do it in under 60 seconds with a flathead screwdriver. I guarantee you can do it.
Installed it today, thanks, yeah pretty simple but it took me awhile to figure out I had to turn the wheel to get to one of the holding clips. Pretty awesome how it's a direct swap.
