i know that by taking the wheel well you can see the vents, i dont know how complicated those lights are. good luck thou.
Oznium Vent Lights
I know the directions say to remove the front bumper, I am wondering if there is an easier way to install these guys. Is it possible to access the side vents from the bottom cover? I am sure I can find a ground somewhere there, how did you guys get your Oznium vent lights in?

I was just talking to someone the other day that installed them and he had a hard time snapping them into place. Actually, they still weren't fully snapped in, so I would assume that removing the bumper and placing it on the ground would give you better leverage snapping them in place.
Just tried again from the well and I pressed really hard and popped them in all the way. Don't be scared to push.

BTW... When I passed you on 104, I was able to check out your lights from the front. Your vent lights look great lit up, even during the day! Did you install HID's?
I won't be scurd! Menni, how did you wire your vent lights if you went through the wheel well? Did you have to turn the front wheel to get more working room? I pulled back the fender liner/splash guard and installed them from beneath the car. Screws and clips that need to be removed can be seen in the instructions for TRD CAI on TRDSparks install guide here:

The lights are in place but not quite fully engaged because I don't have the right muscle or leverage to get them to snap. So yeah if you're gonna go from under and behind the bumper then you gotta have strong hands. Maybe it would've been easier to take off the bumper but that seemed like much more work.

I got some nylon tools coming, I am leaning towards taking the entire front off, seems like getting access to the parking light wires and the ground wires would be difficult unless you remove the front. I wired mine with the ignition which was easy to do. I've put them on with the bumper off as well because I needed to take off the tint from my fog lights. You might need an extra hand with taking the bumper off. I did it by myself but it was a little tough!

Not yet, she has to get her bumper repaired or replaced first. Hopefully she should be able to have the work done soon.
Just installed. Wired to ignition as DRL's. Look and work great! Had installed at Sideways (Austin, TX) who did a great job & cost only $75. Installer used lots of muscle to snap in. Did not remove bumper.

i grounded mine by threading the wire through the screws behind the headlights.
Okay guys let me get this straight, to remove the OEM vent (without taking bumper off), do I just reach in wheelwell and pull or do I push the vent in from the front?

There are locking tabs that you would have to push to separate the vent from the bumper and the only way to reach them is from the rear. Once you unsnap the vent from the tabs, the vent would be removed from the rear.

LOL, I wasnt scurd about pushing it into place! The blood flow to my hand was going out due to me pushing and the tight squeeze in the wheel well. I just checked again and both are in tight, pushed really hard on the outter surface of both arrays and they didnt budge. I did a 3M di-noc wrap on the front bumper, it turned out awesome!
