That's what I did. The running lights have 3 wires, one grnd and 2 power wires one pwr wire is to pwr them on and the other is pwr for the turn signal. I just snapped the led array in and brought the wires up and spliced the wires directly to the wires that pwr the running lights.

I installed these light this past weekend, I purchased them a few months ago and just never got around to installing them.
I found it wasn't too difficult to remove the bumper even though I have no experience taking apart a car :)
We used little zip lock baggies and labeled the different sections that we removed the screws from. Took the grill off first, then the bumper and wheel well covers.
After that we used some easy connect splicers http://www.autozone.com/autozone/catalog/accessories/accProductDetails.jsp?counter=3&categoryDisplayName=Electrical+and+Lighting&fromString=search&itemIdentifier=421789_0_0_&productId=421789&sortType=&parentId=367-10&filterByKeyWord=splice&categoryNValue=100367&navValue=100670&fromWhere=&itemId=670-10&displayName=Conduct-Tite+22-10+gauge+quick+splice+terminal+assortment&store=1850&skuDisplayName=Conduct-Tite+22-10+gauge+quick+splice+terminal+assortment&brandName=Dorman
and followed the image directions on Oznium's website. http://www.oznium.com/scion-xb-front-led/photos

The lights did take some muscle to pop in all the way! But at least we know they aren't going anywhere :)

I'm def. going to have to swap out the headlights now! Hopefully I won't have to get a conversion kit, I'd like to just finder more-white light bulbs! Any recommendations?

I was jsut reading through the thread, jsut thought I would note that any metal part of the chassis can be used as a ground. Its best to use a connector when grounding something instead of jsut threading loose wires around a bolt. If you can use a drill and a self tapping sheet metal screw to make your own ground (the best way).

Just because it works doesnt mean its right.
