So my vinyl on my a pillars got scuffed up I was wondering if anyone knows if you can paint it or has painted the vinyl ? I was thinking of spraying the vinyl with a a coat of paint to fix it

I've seen them removed before - the pillars are already painted underneath. It's a pain to remove the vinyl (it's glued) but it looks good once removed.

If you want to stay with the black look just pull the vinyl and lay a new sheet on there.

You can use the vinyl paint they use on seats. Regular paint will just flake off over time. How bad is the scuff?

If it's not too deep, you can try heating it with a heat gun to "heal" it. Don't go too crazy on it or you will burn it. You can also use a butane torch, just keep the flame moving and don't get too close. Keep a hand next to it and if it's too hot for your hand it's getting close to being too hot for the vinyl.

id prefer to paint it first if possible i dont want to remove it just has some light white scratchs that i wanted to spray a light coat of paint to hide. where can i get the paint that will work on vinyl
