I used the DupliColor kit. I've had to do a couple of spot touch-ups since I did it a two years ago.
If I ever redo it entirely I'll use G2.
There's paint in a can or paint in a spray form.
Remove wheels from car.
You can paint the calipers while they're on the car or you can take them off the rotors if you have the know-how.
Clean calipers really well with cleaner (usually provided in the kit).
Mask off any areas that paint shouldn't be on and go for it.
BTW directions recommend that you late the paint cure for at least 24 hours before driving. And low humidity, warm temperature helps the paint cure too.
i was buying the color not the name...methinks not many check lug nuts for a name brand. i didnt think it was a bad price compared to the ones i see on SL and the 50 that discount tire was gonna charge me for the black ones. gonna check out summit for sure.
I used G2. I Painteed mine black. One word of advise, if your in AZ, do it in a well colled area, in the winter or at a shop. I did mine in my garage and by the time I was in the passenger side, My painted started to get goo-y, so I did a half *** job becuase I had to rush!!!! Dammit
